About
Hi, I’m Nik.
I’ve spent 15 years building products people love enough to pay for — creative tools used by 25,000+ artists and studios, and lately AI products like Factory.
It started at the animation studio I founded, where I sat next to artists burning entire days on exporting, versioning, and chasing feedback. I shipped the fix, then learned every other studio had the same friction. Those internal tools became Extrabite — creative software now used by 25,000+ paying customers in 50+ countries, including teams at Meta, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and studios like The Mill.
I research how people actually work and target the bottlenecks they can’t see past. Over five years at Extrabite I converted inbound support tickets into 600+ user interviews and used that to shape the next versions of our products. That same discipline turned into Factory: a unified AI video and image platform aggregating 50+ models, with an AI Director agent and a multi-provider abstraction over 10+ vendors. We hit 8,000+ users and cash-positive operations within four months of launch.
These days I’m the Technical Product Lead at MyHealthspan, working on making healthcare data and longevity accessible, explainable — and genuinely cool.
I prefer small, senior teams that ship weekly, and I love bringing junior operators up alongside them.
